150 000 CHF is ridiculous for such basic movement and a new brand. Come on chaps, this is not an Aston Martin !

Amazed by the skills of the young watchmakers and what they achieve but they totally lost their minds. Come on ! Let's have a pragmatic approach : Development costs : almost 0 for this type of very, very basic movement. This could be a montre école. Stain

Advice needed: this or that?

I am trying to choose between two watches: A Felipe Pikullik Classic: and an H. Moser & Cie Vantablack: Thoughts? I have *some* views of my own - clearly - but am interested in the opinions of people on here… I am not unduly swayed by manual vs automatic

Kudoke is great!

I have personally had good experiences with Kudoke, Benzinger, Felipe Pikullik, and Sinn. Both Benzinger and Pikullik built me custom pieces that they nailed. Was very happy with them both. I’ve owned two Lange pieces but would never recommend the brand.

Good Thread

Usually I move on. I almost always buy my watches second-hand anyways unless it's something I absolutely can not find used/the math works better on a new watch. For example with Lange, it made more sense to buy a new Zeitwerk with a discount from the bout

Wow...

I didn't realize that RGM had stepped up their finishing so much recently. That looks great. I love the MOP too. Amazing choices. I would love a detailed writeup on your thoughts on the Credor at some point. What a stunning piece! To answer the original Q

HTH by Felipe Pikullik

Today I received a very special watch, the HTH by Felipe Pikullik. Earlier this year I discovered the work of Felipe Pikullik. I was really fascinated by the work, with an emphasis on traditional styles and respect for the grand masters of horological his

For me Felipe Pikullik and Lecomte were great watches for there price point.

But like almost everything the prices went up significantly for most independents . Habring or Kudoke maybe still a bang for your buck imo

Bang for buck independents

Who do you guys think is out there and relatively unrecognized/doing great work at the price point? Examples: -First run of pascal coyon -Initial Felipe Pikullik (although I think his work is still great value for what you get)

Very great ideas

I believe the first step would be finding a brand amenable to this... I think we all know some brands that have done editions recently... cartier, montblanc, blancpain, un, pf and some others. Personally I'd love a pf Tonda, however, the no date sand colo

No games!

I don't mind waitlists, but they way they are handled by big brands like Rolex, Patek, ALS, and AP are outright disrespectful towards customers. There's no real clarity whether the "list" is real, and just seems to require you to buy a bunch of trash that
